Founded by brothers Ray and Austin Nelson in 1949, Nelson Lumber started out as a small lumber yard in Lloydminster, Alberta. Just a few years later in 1953 a second retail location was opened in Edmonton, Alberta, where it currently sits today. Following the opening of the Edmonton store, three other retail locations were eventually opened up in Alberta in Bonnyville, Slave Lake and Grande Prairie.

Our full service lumber yards supply expert service for construction materials including foundations, engineered floor and roof systems, windows and doors, exterior cladding, roofing products, insulation, drywall, hardware products, interior finish, kitchen cabinets and of course, all framing materials.
